Sol-Sol x BAD IDEA

Our local streetwear faves Sol-Sol menswear, based out of the Woodstock powerhouse Corner Store, finished off their best year yet in December with a mini-drop of their capsule collection done in collaboration with Hong Kong-based BAD IDEA’s Forlee Bean, who hooked up with the Cape Town brand straight off the back of a recent project with Paris’ colette. Corner Store FW 2016 Lookbook

If nothing else good came out of this 2016, at the very least its the year that Corner Store can into its own as a brand. Winter’s just getting warmed up in the Southern hemisphere, and our favourite local menswear labels is raising the bar for winter standards. In a small reveal for the upcoming months, SOL-SOL introduced new pieces including collaborative tees with fine artist Mia Chaplin. The full collection maintains signature SOL-SOL basics, as well as new silhouettes drawing on Easter tailoring and an underlying workwear influence.
