One of our favourite coffee shops in Jo’burg recently launched their own cold brew and it is delicious, especially on the warm summer days we have been having. You can drink it as is or take Chad’s advice and get a little festive with it.
‘It’s made by steeping freshly ground coffee in mineral water overnight then filtering through paper. The all-cold extraction offers a coffee with much less acidity while spotlighting the fruity, floral notes of our natural-processed Konga from Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Refreshing, juicy, and packing a kick, our cold brew is great over ice, or added to tonic water for an awesome summer spritzer. Even better if that tonic has gin in it too.’ – Chad from Father Coffee
