Update: Jean de Wet.

Jean de Wet is one of our very favourite local illustrators. His incredibly detailed work creates a visual narrative, telling stories with otherworldly landscapes and strange characters. There’s something wonderfully compelling about his pieces; they grab your attention and don’t let go until you’ve looked hard enough.

He currently has some pieces on display at ‘Those Who Wander’ at Salon91, as part of a group show with Bruce Mackay, Gerhard Human, Ree Treweek, Rikus Ferreira, Jade Klara, Hanno Van Zyl and Daniël Du Plessis. Check out the details here.

Here is some of new and old work. Check out his site and tumblr for more!
