This very cool video has been making the rounds and has been graced with a few very prestigious nominations.

We’re a little over half way through 2009, and it’s already been one of the strongest years for new music in a long while.

With releases from Blitzen Trapper, Destroyer, Diddy, Islands, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne still to come – ‘Best of 2009′ lists are going to be tougher to predict than a(n) [insert something appropriate eg. "Florida election"].

Take a look at our picks for the year so far. They’re all very Best New Music-friendly and full of summertime breeze-pop. Which is nice.

Pitchfork released their review of ‘Lisztomania’, from Phoenix’s most resent album, on Monday. They for once had a similar opinion to me and felt the song was well constructed. They even went as far as saying that ‘Lisztomania’ might be “the feel-good hit of the beginning of summer”.

I have been looking around at entry level camera’s just to see what the big brands are releasing. People only really consider Nikon’s and Canon’s when purchasing a DSLR, unless they have some sentimental connection with other brands such as Olympus or Pentax. After much research and development another brand have put themselves on the options list, Sony. Sony have produced, almost every digital appliance I could want in my house, but up until recently they have been focused on point-and-shoot camera’s. The Alpha 900 is their flag on the DSLR map. It is sexy, if I might say so myself.

I want to dress like a hipster.Wired tell me I just have to buy some tees. Sounds easy.

Also I hear H&M sell good leggings.
