Update: One Horse Town. The Boombox Project.

One Horse Town have been working on a book, The Boombox Project, for Lyall Owerko, a New York based photographer and boombox collector. The book includes interviews with the Beastie Boys, Grand Master Flash, LL Cool Jay and other Hip Hop legends of the boombox era.

One Horse Town did 32 illustrations for the book and 4 launch posters. The book is due to launch on the 1st October 2010.

Well done. These posters look great, excited to see the book illustrations.

This is a few weeks old but One Horse Town did this very cool album artwork for The Stella’s ep ‘Cut Throat’, it’s very nice. The lady on the front cover is particularly nice.

Serenade Your Walls.

The guys and girls over at 10and5 have come up with a very cool exhibition.

‘The 10and5 Poster Project 2010 is the first of our annual initiative of South African designers and artists designing posters guided by one collective theme. This year’s exhibition is called Serenade your Walls, and is a collection of posters designed for 14 local bands.’

Also stay tuned for giveaways, during the week we will have little competitions whereby if you correct the right artist/band combo you win the poster. Just like that.
