I got my hands on some very interesting screenshots from a new short film by Ari Kruger, a kickass 3D motion graphics guru from Cape Town who just also happens to have a penchant for creating interesting and beautiful conceptual short movies. I don’t know what My Back Yard is about and i don’t know when it’ll be out (not in February i’ve heard) , but judging by these images it’s going to be totally awesome.

This dude, claims to have stolen a Beatles Cassette from a parallel universe, where CD’s never really caught on and the Beatles survived to the 1980′s. Better yet, this crackpot has made the whole album available on the internets. And it rocks.  You can download the full album here, and read the story. It’s absolutely incredible.  Even if you dont believe the story ( if you do you’re an idiot) it’s an amazing compilation of Beatles mashups.

It also features a frightfully gross part where a panda by the name of Pandara, trying to emulate the KISS look, attempts to sever a ligament under his tongue to afford himself a few extra inches of toungey length. He dies and, in his honour, they create a range of Vinyl Panda Rockers called Pandara. Sweet.
