I got my hands on some very interesting screenshots from a new short film by Ari Kruger, a kickass 3D motion graphics guru from Cape Town who just also happens to have a penchant for creating interesting and beautiful conceptual short movies. I don’t know what My Back Yard is about and i don’t know when it’ll be out (not in February i’ve heard) , but judging by these images it’s going to be totally awesome.

the soldier in the first shot is Chris Mugisho, Ari’s boxing coach at Harrington Street Boxing Gym. Ari is the hep cat who gave us ‘Gandalf comes to Cape Town’.
