With releases from Blitzen Trapper, Destroyer, Diddy, Islands, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne still to come – ‘Best of 2009′ lists are going to be tougher to predict than a(n) [insert something appropriate eg. "Florida election"].
Take a look at our picks for the year so far. They’re all very Best New Music-friendly and full of summertime breeze-pop. Which is nice.
