Rob Ryan creates extremely intricate, intriguing paper-cut art. His practice involves the cutting and removing of paper to produce images and patterns within a single sheet of card.
His background was originally in printmaking and painting but his more recent work, using paper, is incredible. His skill as a storyteller is showcased in the amazing “This Is for You”.
Each page is hand-crafted and heartfelt and makes you go “iiih” just a little bit. He completed a page a day for 60 days – using words and images that feel like snapshots from a fairy-tale.
