Dear John Love Emma are set to play another gig this evening at the Labia, this is a gig you surely can’t miss out on. The band has been compared to the likes of The Arcade Fire, possibly not only due to the type of music they play but largely because of the size of the band. DJLE have been around for a while now and have exposed themselves not only through live performances, but also through DJ sets, a popular activity for overseas bands but something which is lacking a bit on local soil. DJLE are currently recording what they hope to be their first single and are planning on shooting a video for it. The band makes a great contribution to the some what lacking Cape Town folk scene.
